Aluminum hangers are installed every 16 or 18 inches. Hangers are screwed to the fascia board, to the back of the gutters.
This continuous hanger™ system is installed across the entire length of the eavestrough.
It is screwed into the fascia board at the back of the eavestrough, and hung inside the front of them, across the entire length.
Eavestroughs installed with spaced hangers are invisible from the ground but are weak because hangers are attached every 16 or 18 inches.
The T-Rex® continuous hanger™ System cannot be seen from the ground and is much stronger than traditional installation with spaced hangers. This improves the overall appearance of your house.
Hangers made of aluminum will not rust.
They are fastened to your house every 16 to 18 inches across the entire length of your rain gutters.
The T-Rex® system is made of aluminum: that means no rust! Your eavestroughs will be very strongly fastened to your home for better protection.
As the hangers are installed every 16 or 18 inches, the gutters are not strong enough to support the weight of accumulated snow or ice.
Newly installed eavestroughs are 50% more robust than other types. Why is that? The T-Rex® system allows eavestroughs to stay strong since they are attached across their entire length, leaving no weak points. The system can support up to 250 pounds per linear foot.
It eliminates all risk of warping due to the weight of a ladder, or pressure from branches, snow or ice.
This type of fastener lets snow and ice into eavestroughs. But when they’re full of ice and snow, they can’t funnel water to the downspout when the weather warms up.
Your rain gutters remain fully functional since neither snow nor ice can enter or clog them.
Water can drain freely through your downspouts to protect your house from major damage.
*No system can prevent ice from forming on the roofs of poorly insulated or poorly ventilated houses. However, T-Rex® will prevent eavestrough warping caused by the weight or movement of ice.
If you lean a ladder against a gutter between the hangers where there are weak points, it might damage your new eavestrough.
Note that damaged eavestroughs cannot be repaired.
T-Rex® is a continuous eavestrough fastening system. It has no weak points. It can support the weight of a ladder without damaging your new gutters, since the weight is evenly distributed across the entire length of the installation.
*Alu-Rex reminds you to always ensure ladders are firmly secured at the base and at the top.
Rainwater can seep through your eavestroughs installed with hangers. Over time, it can rot the fascia board of your home. Repairing fascia boards can be very expensive.
Since the T-Rex® system is sealed with gasketed screws, there is no risk of water damage to the fascia board.
Since snow and ice can accumulate inside your rain gutters, your installation will warp over time.
Note that warped gutters cannot be repaired.
When you opt for the T-Rex® continuous hanger™ system, neither snow nor ice can enter, let alone accumulate in your eavestroughs. There is no danger of warping.
Gutters installed with hangers let the sun’s UV rays through, which dry out the sealant. Eventually the sealant cracks, causing leaks in the corners.
T-Rex® blocks over 50% of UV rays, so they can’t reach the sealant and cause cracks. Protected from the sun, the sealant stays watertight, which means no leaks in the corners!
As these systems allow debris to clog eavestroughs (e.g. birds' nests, leaves, tennis balls and branches), the downspouts can clog, resulting in water overflow. Your house would then suffer major damage.
The T-Rex® continuous hanger™ system is an ultra-strong eavestrough installation, preventing overflows and water damage to your home.
*In most cases, the wind blows debris off the T-Rex® surface. When wind doesn't do the job, simply brush off the T-Rex® surface. Please note that even if the surface is covered with debris, water can get through and into the gutter without overflowing.
The T-Rex® continuous hanger™ comes with a lifetime warranty covering robustness and defects in materials in addition to a 40-year clog-free warranty.
